Its name is indeed an invitation, as it occupies the top floor of the luxurious 18th-century Verride Palácio Santa Catarina hotel, where the attentive team’s stately uniforms come from. Chef Fábio Alves, who hails from Trás-os-Montes, enjoys recalling the game dishes of his native region, with their distinct flavours and aromas, yet he does not overlook other dishes from across the country or the magnificent fish from the Portuguese coast (every dish and product is explained in detail). The offering, with a modern twist, consists of a tasting menu with three options (the full experience, 5 or 4 courses) and a small menu, which includes vegetarian choices, featuring dishes taken from these menus (we especially loved the local fish with millet and razor clams). A bit of a tip? Head up to the incredible panoramic terrace to enjoy 360-degree views of the beautiful city of Lisbon. But be aware if you’re going with your family, as they only accept children aged 12 or older!
