This central restaurant, almost opposite the culinary hub known as Bairro do Avillez, calls itself an “atypical Tasco”, because within the informal, popular philosophy of a contemporary tavern, it offers a modern Portuguese cuisine designed for sharing. You’ll find starters, snacks, hot specialties, sharing boards... and seasonal dishes, all executed with sound technique, recognisable flavours, and the quirk of leaving the door open to one or two Mexican details (the chef previously worked at the famous, now closed, Hoja Santa in Barcelona). What to try? Their vegetable ‘sea taco’, the beef tartare with bone marrow, the cod with roasted potato foam...
