This is certainly not your tia's taqueria. Instead, this spot doles out tacos with a Southeast-Asian bent. Order at the white tiled counter and take a peek at the highly efficient kitchen where everything is prepared to order, then grab a seat outside. Tacos like the Cantonese, with confit porkbelly, a mix of spices, plus hoisin, sriracha and pickled cucumber in a flour tortilla, are served on dried corn husks instead of plates. The siu yuk wraps crispy roast pork with nam jim jaew sauce and encurtidos in a flour tortilla for a successful marriage of flavor and texture.
