This restaurant specialising in traditional Japanese grilled eel is the only Nodaïwa outside of Japan, and has been ensconced on rue Saint-Honoré for nearly 30 years. It also serves eel in an array of other styles: grilled, glazed, in soup, flan or jelly. The other specialities, such as miso soup, chawanmushi or tofu, are prepared on the premises, attracting a demanding Japanese clientele. The establishment is also committed to the traceability of its eels and to conservation matters, which gives an idea of their respect for the creature and the quality of the cuisine.
