Opposite the Loiseau family’s legendary Côte d’Or restaurant, this handsome 17C edifice is both a supremely comfortable traditional hostelry and a bistro, offering an appetising more casual alternative to its fine dining parent establishment. Here, local and regional recipes take pride of place, such as eggs in a red wine sauce or chicken à la Gaston Gérard. The rotunda dining room, which leads onto a terrace, is the epitome of country chic with old terracotta tiled flooring and a glorious timber ceiling, all of which in an unabashed, full-on Burgundy style.
