In an idyllic lakeside location by the Kellersee, this estate was made famous by the Immenhof German cult film series. Today, within the pretty white walls of the manor house, diners tuck into ambitious cuisine in the form of fish and vegetarian/vegan dishes such as pan-seared Norwegian scallop with black salsify, pear and winter truffle, or goat's curd tortellini with beetroot cream, braised chicory and Belper Knolle. The barbecued fish options are sure to whet the appetite. The interior design is delightful: With seven tables, the main room has an elegant and modern feel. There are also two private dining spaces for smaller parties and Jantzens Bar (with cigar lounge), where sushi creations are served. Delightful terrace with a view of the surrounding countryside.
