A boutique hotel in the upmarket northern suburb of Hellerup plays host to Yves Le Lay’s second restaurant, sister to à terre. The tone is set as you enter into the hotel’s impressive lobby, before heading through to the restaurant itself with its chic brown and cream hues and striking marble floor. Yves’ signature French cuisine takes in both classic and modern influences, with fresh ingredients cooked with plenty of care but without fuss. Dishes range from croissants and waffles (with optional caviar) at breakfast to frog’s legs, Roscoff onion tart and lemon bavarois at dinner.
