This restaurant brings plenty of color, character, and Thai flair (note the tuk tuk in the back) to a space nestled within a busy shopping center in Fort Lauderdale. It's always busy and there are no reservations, but it's worth the wait. Their large menu is far from standard, including everything from curries, noodle dishes, and salads to signature dishes from the Isan region. Like spicy? They'll ask for your preference and won't hold back if you indicate you're a heat seeker. Dishes to order include Yum Naem Khao Tod, a classic crispy rice salad studded with fermented sausage and mixed with peanuts, ginger, and fresh herbs. Fried banana is a must-order, as is a classic mango sticky rice.
