In a quiet street near the Champs-Élysées, this restaurant is nestled behind the attractive red-brick and stone façade of the Hotel Padam, on the ground floor. The interior design is pitch perfect: herringbone flooring, green velvet upholstery, striped wallpaper… The flavoursome traditional cuisine – asparagus mimosa; roast chicken with broad beans and peas, or apple tarte fine with vanilla ice cream – is very reasonably priced, which is not to be sniffed at in one of the most expensive areas of Paris. A short menu at lunchtime, a little more choice in the evening. Pleasant, dynamic service.
