The setting is pleasant and the atmosphere inviting: polished concrete floors, whitewashed walls and old bistro furniture. Gabin Rodes, a young chef from Vernon who trained at Éric Guérin's La Mare aux Oiseaux, revisits bistro classics without distorting them, a case in point being his leeks in vinaigrette finished with fresh herbs and blue cheese. A strong focus on local ingredients, with produce sourced within a 100km radius. The lunchtime menu is simpler.
