This pleasant family-run restaurant set in a rather remote location near the German border is well worth the detour. It has a few surprises in store on account of its interesting two-part menu: turn to "Papa Fritz's Wirtshausklassiker" for traditional Austrian cuisine, or opt for "Viktoria Fahringers Fine Dining Karte" for rather more elaborate and creative dishes. Both options make use of carefully selected local ingredients – excellent quality is guaranteed. Take your pick from a selection of Austrian wines. The restaurant is located in the Viktorias Home hotel, which offers lovely apartments for overnight stays.
