A thoroughly enchanting establishment! In a 16C townhouse in the heart of the city, dedicated hosts Susanne and Michael Pilz have created a cosy restaurant featuring beautiful vaulted ceilings and a truly idyllic outdoor dining area with trees, grapevines, shrubs and herbs. The chef-patron crafts regional and seasonal dishes with modern influences (think veal lights with brioche dumplings or sea bass with melted tomatoes and saffron gnocchi), the lady of the house expertly directs the service with warm hospitality. In addition to the restaurant, they operate café-bar 10 B, located on Rathausplatz. Recommended excursions: Lake Neusiedl or the Roman quarry in Sankt Margarethen.
