The essence of nature permeates the ambience in this former farmhouse in Parc Broekhuizen, which is now a restaurant with a splendid timber framework. This is a laid-back restaurant with a modern yet rustic feel, where the experienced chef draws inspiration from Dutch produce, including from the surrounding kitchen garden. He showcases premium vegetables in a vibrant appetiser, for example, or elevates farmhouse chicken with a celeriac cream infused with curry and a rich jus. Despite their unassuming descriptions, the dishes – underpinned by modern ideas – pack a punch with their deep flavours. Cleverly devised, sophisticated and indulgent.
