This urban-cool restaurant in the building of publishing house Suhrkamp-Verlag is run by the team behind Lode & Stijn, another restaurant in Berlin. The sleek design, the floor-to-ceiling windows and the open kitchen in the middle are the defining features of the space. The seasonal dishes prepared in view of diners are pleasingly intelligible and without unnecessary flourishes. The affordable lunch deal is also very popular. The dishes, which range from earthy beetroot with smoked local trout to braised wild boar, are guaranteed to satisfy; the desserts are made in-house. In summer, the lovely terrace is popular. The restaurant has many regulars, so it's best to book a table.
