As you enter the exclusive Hotel Adlon Kempinski, the lobby sets the tone for the refined feel of the restaurant on the first floor. With a bit of luck, you will get a table with a view of the Brandenburg Gate. The sophisticated, classically opulent interior meets its match in the sophisticated cuisine of Jonas Zörner. After a successful stint at MICHELIN-starred GOLVET, the chef is now setting about skilfully showcasing extremely high-quality ingredients in his French-based set menu. His creative style and flair for harmonious combinations are evident, for example, in the marinated hamachi, the perfect saltiness and juicy texture of which combines wonderfully with the mild acidity of green strawberries and the beautiful briny note of caviar – all rounded off with an extremely delicate beurre blanc split with aromatic dill oil. The front-of-house team, led by Oliver Kraft and sommelier Hans-Martin Konrad, is also outstanding: from the moment you arrive, you can expect extremely courteous, professional and discreet service.
