This trendy and stylish restaurant occupies an old bridge structure on the premises of the Brückenbaron events venue. When you enter, you can take a peek into the glass-enclosed kitchen before being seated in the airy dining space. The large windows look out onto landscaped grounds, complete with a pond and fountain. Gorgeous terrace. The modern set menu made using seasonal produce puts the emphasis on sustainability. Vegetables feature prominently throughout. The same ingredient is often presented in various forms and textures. The service is very friendly, attentive and professional – the chefs are on hand to talk you through the dishes. On the wine list: organic, ecological and natural Franconian wineries.

"We do not use factory-farmed animals; our butcher can slaughter the animals where they have been reared, and we grow herbs, fruit, nuts and vegetables. For us, sustainability does not end with ingredients; we use photovoltaics, heat with biomass, have a water source and rainwater storage. We use a fleet of electric cars and are mindful of our employees' work-life balance."
